This policy explains what data Charter collects, why, and what we do with it. Plain English. No dark patterns.
Account info: your name, email address, and (optionally) mobile number. Required so you can sign in across devices.
Study progress: quiz attempts, flashcard intervals, podcast positions, and your exam date. Stored on your device and synced to your account so it travels with you.
Payments: when you activate a paid plan, we record the amount, exam date, and a Razorpay payment reference. We never see or store your card details — they go directly from your device to Razorpay.
Usage & diagnostics: basic in-app events (e.g. sign-ins and sessions) and error reports, stored on our own server to keep Charter working and improve it.
No third-party analytics SDKs. No advertising trackers. No selling of data — ever.
On a server we run, in a single SQLite database. Audio uploads stay on the same server.
You can edit your profile in Settings, change your password, or delete your account entirely (Profile → Delete account). Deleting wipes your record from our server.
Questions about this policy or your data: reach the administrator via the email shown on the sign-in screen.
